This running 1936 Fairbanks Morse Model 32D engine just might be the largest engine I have ever seen.
Huffing and puffing in Pottsville Oregon, this 80-year-old engine is so big and heavy that it actually shakes the ground as it runs.
Word on the old timey street is that these massive Model 32 engines served for many years in places such as factories, mills, cotton gins, pumping stations, power stations, and ice plants.
Think about that, these used to make ice.
Now, your fridge silently makes ice 24/7.
